Robert Klein Gallery is pleased to announce its representation of the Estate of JOHN YANG. Using traditional view cameras and alternative darkroom techniques, Yang produced exquisite large-format platinum/palladium contact prints. A dedicated technician, Yang was committed to exploring the subtle tonal variations of this painstaking process. Born in China and raised in New York City, Yang photographed the architecture and streets of New York, as well as the landscapes and gardens throughout New York state.
Yang's work is in the permanent collections of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Smithsonian American Art Museum, The Museum of Modern Art, The New York Public Library, The High Museum, Atlanta, and the Chasanoff Collection at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.
Platinum/palladium prints will be available to view at the upcoming 2017 AIPAD PHOTOGRAPHY SHOW. Visit Robert Klein Gallery in booth #515 to see these exquisite prints.
